In terms of international box office, John Wick: Chapter 4 has grossed $64 million more, reaching a total sum of $137.5 million<\/strong>. Considering that the production cost $90 million to make, Lionsgate has already recouped its investment and is now all profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it has not only been a hit in terms of box office. With 95% favorable reviews on Rotten Tomatoes<\/strong> -equal to its number in public, also 95%-, the film has managed to conquer everyone. Although its long running time (169 minutes) made many wonder if it would hold up, the response could not have been more favorable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lionsgate has already announced that there will be a fifth installment<\/strong> of the saga -in fact, the initial intention was to shoot it together with 4, but COVID did not allow it-. In this new film, if we continue with what happened in the previous ones, it will explore what happens to Wick after what happens in John Wick 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is still no shooting date<\/strong> and we don’t even know if the script is complete. But, if we take into account that the previous ones did not take too long to be released between them, we could be talking about a premiere in about two years. Of course, there will be no lack of desire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
