Yes, we had a busy week with some exciting announcements, starting off with the <a href=\"http:\/\/onsoftware.en.softonic.com\/new-world-of-warcraft-expansion-announced\/\">new World of Warcraft expansion pack<\/a> (can&#8217;t wait to lay my hands on it!), a trial version of the <a href=\"http:\/\/onsoftware.en.softonic.com\/a-first-look-at-iwork08\/\">new iWork suite for Mac<\/a> and even some rumours about the first <a href=\"http:\/\/onsoftware.en.softonic.com\/vista-service-pack-1-what-to-expect\/\">service pack for Windows Vista<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We know most of you are on enviable holiday trips, so we couldn&#8217;t help dedicating some posts to helpful software apps for safe travelling. Tom put together a list of the <a href=\"http:\/\/onsoftware.en.softonic.com\/the-best-mobile-gps-software\/\">best GPS mobile tools<\/a>, while Tony hunted down some <a href=\"http:\/\/onsoftware.en.softonic.com\/holiday-like-a-boy-scout\/\">useful programs for tourists<\/a> and Cyril made trips abroad easier with an excellent collection of <a href=\"http:\/\/onsoftware.en.softonic.com\/top-10-translation-apps\/\">translation apps<\/a>. If you don&#8217;t feel like getting up from the couch you can always follow James&#8217;s adventures in Google Sightseeing &#8211; this week&#8217;s chapter covers <a href=\"http:\/\/onsoftware.en.softonic.com\/google-sightseeing-australasia\/\">Australasia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But travelling is by no means the only activity for summer. It&#8217;s a perfect time for some home refurbishing as well, conveniently helped by <a href=\"http:\/\/onsoftware.en.softonic.com\/family-favourites-for-those-boring-holidays\/\">these decorating software apps<\/a>. Summer is also the time of the year where you tend to spend more time with your family, like it or not. Luckily enough, Tony <a href=\"http:\/\/onsoftware.en.softonic.com\/family-favourites-for-those-boring-holidays\/\">found some games<\/a> to make these family meetings more bearable.<\/p>\n<p>Last, but not least, I&#8217;d like to mention Tom&#8217;s great list of <a href=\"http:\/\/onsoftware.en.softonic.com\/5-free-alternatives-to-adobe-products\/\">free alternatives to Adobe products<\/a>.
