Jonathan Majors arrested for assaulting a woman<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Last Saturday, Jonathan Majors was arrested in New York<\/a> on alleged charges of strangulation, assault and harassment<\/strong> in the context of a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman. The events occurred in an apartment in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, where police responded to a 911 call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The victim reported to officers that she had been assaulted, and after examination, was transported to a nearby hospital<\/strong> with minor head and neck injuries in stable condition. Police arrested Majors without incident and held him in police custody until the evening of the same day, at which time he was released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A representative for the actor has issued a statement denying any wrongdoing on Majors’ part<\/strong> and hopes that the situation will be cleared up to clear his name.
