The Mandalorian<\/a> continues to move forward<\/strong> in a season that has already passed its halfway point and faces one of the most anticipated finales in the S<\/a>tar Wars<\/a> series on Disney Plus. After wiping out the pirates who attacked Nevarro in 3\u00d705<\/a>, the Mandalorian people have settled down and are preparing to repopulate Mandalore. But there is still much to be decided.<\/p>\n\n\n

At the end of the previous chapter, Bo-Katan Kryze<\/a> regained the position she deserved<\/strong> and the Armera extolled her as their new leader to unite all the Mandalorian tribes and return them to what they were. In an exciting twist, he asked her to take off her helmet and go find all the Mandalorians scattered across the galaxy. And, evidently, Din Djarin and Grogu<\/a> joined in on the plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, in this last stretch of the season, we know what we’re in for: new episodes in which the goal is to recruit as many Mandalorians as possible<\/strong>. And, in the meantime, an old new threat looms over them all: the Moff Gideon<\/strong>. The Imperial escaped his trial with the New Republic<\/a> and is unaccounted for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A planet led by Jack Black<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In this new episode of The Mandalorian<\/a>, the protagonist trio – because yes, it has become more than clear that Bo-Katan is as much the main character as Mando and Grogu – travels to Plasir 15, a planet near Mandalore led by a stately character played by Jack Black<\/strong>, who is a die-hard fan of the saga and has finally had the opportunity to appear in Star Wars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Black is a former Imperial who, as part of his rehabilitation in the New Republic, traveled to Plasir 15 and helped rebuild the planet<\/strong>. There he fell in love with the leader of the place, and both governed establishing a system of direct democracy in which all the work is done by droids and humans can live freely.<\/p>\n\n\n

However, as they explain to Din Djarin<\/a> and Bo-Katan, they have recently experienced a problem with the war droids they have converted into servants. Many are engaging in rebellious behavior that endangers the population, and they search unsuccessfully for the source of the problem. With the intention of being allowed to talk to the Mandalorian mercenaries that inhabit the planet, the protagonists embark on a small adventure in which they search for what is happening with the droids<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the wonderful middle section of the episode, in which the hand of the great director Bryce Dallas Howard is very noticeable, we see how Din Djarin and Bo-Katan enter the planet to learn about the places where the droids live and how they act. Thanks to this, they soon find the source of the evil, but the enemy they have to fight is even more surprising: Commissioner Hellgate, a character played by none other than Christopher Lloyd<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lloyd, who we all know for being Doc in Back to the Future, Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and Uncle Fester in The Addams Family, plays in the series a small villain who is against the totalitarian regime of Jack Black’s planet. That is why he tries to end the control of the droids<\/strong> and unleash a revolution. However, the Mandalorians stop him in time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a sublime end-of-arc scene, Jack Black and Christopher Lloyd<\/a><\/strong> meet<\/strong> making it clear that The Mandalorian is a complete box of surprises and that no star is exempt from appearing. Without a doubt, the cast is spectacular for an already surprising episode thanks to its lightness and spirit of adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resurgence of Bo-Katan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Finally, the episode concludes with a great plot twist that heads what will be the future of The Mandalorian<\/strong>. And not just in this season, but in the following ones. While a fourth and fifth season of the Disney Plus<\/a> series have already been confirmed, everything seems to indicate that the plot will increasingly settle down and focus on explaining the reconstruction of Mandalore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, despite the fact that Mando had obtained the dark saber and that it was therefore his mission to lead the planet, it was clear that this was not going to be his final destination<\/strong>. And in this chapter it has become clear why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Bo-Katan arrives at his old mercenary squadron, he challenges their new leader and defeats him to take power. However, she is told she can’t be the “boss” because she doesn’t have the dark saber, so Din Djarin gives it to her. And she doesn’t do it as a gift: she saved him when it was stolen<\/strong>, so she is its rightful owner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus, Bo-Katan Kryze rises as the new leader of Mandalore<\/strong>. The one who must unite the tribes and rebuild her home planet so that the people can return to what they were. Mando will help him in everything, of course, but he himself knows that his destiny is different.<\/p>\n\n\n
