For better or worse (more like worse, let’s be honest), from the moment Elon Musk<\/strong> set foot in Twitter<\/strong>‘s headquarters with that famous sink<\/a>, many of us knew that the Twitter we knew would change forever. And boy, has it.<\/p>\n\n\n

What began with a “warm-up”<\/a> by the eccentric billionaire on his Twitter account, ended up deriving (after several tug-of-war) in the purchase of 100% of the company for $44 billion<\/strong>, proclaiming himself lord and master of the company. What preceded his arrival is well known: Musk wanted to clean up and, like any businessman without much desire to eat his brains, he decided to lay off thousands of workers to cut costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, more than 5 months after Elon Musk took over one of the largest social networks in the world, the tycoon has taken a step that will completely change the future of the company: Twitter Inc. becomes X Corp<\/strong>., ceasing to exist entirely as Twitter Inc, according to a court document<\/a> filed in California, United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dated April 4 (just one week ago), the legal document states that “Twitter, Inc. has merged with X Corp. and no longer exists”. For the time being, this only involves the name of the company, and not the social network<\/strong>, which continues to be called Twitter until further notice (and despite the sudden logo changes<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the end of Musk after this merger? Although nothing is clear at the moment, everything points to the fact that it has to do with Musk’s plans to develop “X, the app for everything”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
