While these tools<\/a> can be very entertaining to use, many users are concerned that they can also be used to create deepfakes<\/a> or NSFW<\/strong> content. The question is simple: can a tool like Midjourney generate content of a sexual nature?<\/strong> For starters, Midjourney itself is committed to ensuring that its content is accessible to a wide range of users. This is something we can see in the community guidelines, which ensures that the images generated are appropriate for those under 13 years of age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accordingly, Midjourney strictly prohibits pornographic content (nudity, sexual organs, fetishes and so on) as well as visually disturbing content. So no, you will not be able to create bloody or violent images. On top of that, Midjourney also does not allow anything that is racist, homophobic or offensive to any group. How does Midjourney avoid controversial content?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To enforce its policies, Midjourney<\/a> has a series of limitations that prevent users from doing “strange” things with the bot. One of the first is language moderation: Midjourney does not allow offensive words or terms that give rise to pornographic content, for example. In fact, you cannot even put emojis such as peach or cucumber, for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, what if I put some “forbidden” word? In this case, Midjourney will show a warning<\/strong> and will specify which word has been censored. Don’t try to be clever either, because if you don’t respect its rules, Midjourney will permanently ban you from the server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite all the limitations and measures imposed, the truth is that it is still possible to generate NSFW content (either unintentionally or by deliberately circumventing the bans). Luckily, users can report inappropriate content through two methods:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Right-click on the image and select the Report Message<\/strong> option.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
