Because the idea for the anime didn&#8217;t come out of nowhere, it had been in the works for some time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Director Takeshi Sano<\/strong>, who directed those shorts, <strong>will helm the new Rick and Morty anime series and it has been announced that it will consist of ten episodes<\/strong>.
