The new application will bring new content and a total commitment to the most ambitious series, such as Harry Potter<\/a><\/strong>, Game of Thrones<\/a><\/strong>, Rick and Morty<\/a><\/strong> or True Detective. Millions of euros are going to be spent on creating very expensive and highly anticipated products. And of course, they have to be paid for<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Max’s new prices are crazy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In this morning’s article we talked about this topic, as one of Max’s key points is that the tariffs are renewed and updated. Going from two payment models for a single tariff\u2026 to three new tariffs. These are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Max Ad Lite | $9.99\/month or $99.99\/year:<\/strong> 2 simultaneous streams, 1080p resolution, no offline downloads, 5.1 surround sound quality.<\/li>
  • Max Ad Free | $15.99\/month or $149.99\/year: <\/strong>2 simultaneous streams, 1,080p resolution, 30 offline downloads, 5.1 surround sound quality.<\/li>
  • Max Ultimate Ad Free | $19.99\/month or $199.99\/year:<\/strong> 4 simultaneous streams, up to 4K UHD resolution, 100 offline downloads, Dolby Atmos sound quality.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The issue is that these rates are much more expensive than the current rate of 8.99 euros per month or 69.99 euros per year<\/strong>. Right now it is one of the cheapest platforms on the market and with the change it will become the most expensive, even above Netflix in its 4K version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    So\u2026 what will happen to those who have now paid for the whole year or subscribed to the lifetime offer of HBO Max for 4.49 euros per month?<\/strong> Well, we don’t know, but it seems to be clear. Money rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    They say in their press release that<\/strong>, “HBO Max subscribers will continue to have access to the features of their current plan for a minimum of six months after the launch of Max.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
