A new leak, courtesy of Mark Gurman<\/a><\/strong>, has revealed the imminent arrival of the expected 15-inch MacBook Air. The device, which is expected to be released ahead of WWDC <\/a><\/strong>in June, has been spotted in the App Store’s developer logs<\/strong>, suggesting that its release is closer than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

A new Mac for now and a new chip that will change everything<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The 15-inch MacBook Air has been rumored since 2021, but it is now that production of 15-inch display panels has increased significantly, indicating that the device could already be on its way. Information leaked in developer logs shows that this model will feature an 8-core processor and 10-core GPU, the same configuration as the M2 chip, and 8 GB of RAM<\/strong>. The device has the model identifier “Mac 15.3” and is listed running macOS 14, which is expected to be announced at WWDC 2023 <\/a><\/strong>along with iOS 17 and other OS updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While there have been conflicting reports about which chip this model would use, information from developer logs and Gurman’s statement that the M3 chip will arrive later suggest that the initial 15-inch model will feature the M2 chip<\/strong>, as will the 13-inch model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the 15-inch MacBook Air, Apple is also reportedly working on an update for the 13-inch model<\/strong>, according to Gurman. This upcoming 13-inch MacBook Pro could feature Apple’s M3 chip, which has not yet been officially announced. While it is unclear when this device will be released, it is likely later this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And all this without losing sight of the fact that Apple would be working on other devices, such as a new 24-inch iMac, a Mac Pro with Apple Silicon processors and updates for the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M3 Pro and M3 Max chips. The latter are expected to be launched in the first half of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n
