The <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/everything-you-should-know-launch-starship-titanic-rocket-spacex\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">launch of <strong>Starship<\/strong><\/a>, the largest and most powerful rocket ever created, has been postponed due to technical problems. The liftoff of the <strong>SpaceX<\/strong> spacecraft, owned by <strong>Elon Musk<\/strong>, was <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/what-time-will-the-spacex-starship-be-launched\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">planned for 8.20 AM EDT (3.20 PM in Spain)<\/a>, but had to be cancelled at the last minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter aligncenter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A pressurant valve appears to be frozen, so unless it starts operating soon, no launch today<\/p>&mdash; Elon Musk (@elonmusk) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1647950862885728256?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 17, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;A pressurizer valve appears to be frozen, so unless it starts working soon, there will be no launch today,&#8221; Musk said on his Twitter account, when engineers still did not know whether or not to delay liftoff. Thus, this <strong>titanic 119-meter rocket<\/strong> will have to remain parked at the <strong>Starbase<\/strong> complex in Boca Chica (Texas).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shortly before Starship lifted off, SpaceX&#8217;s chief engineer, John Insprucker, communicated the following in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=L5QXreqOrTA&amp;ab_channel=SpaceX\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">the <strong>live broadcast on YouTube<\/strong><\/a>: &#8220;The decision right now is that we are going to stop the launch for today&#8221;. The engineer explained that the decision was made to cancel liftoff after detecting a pressurization problem while refueling the space rocket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube aligncenter wp-block-embed-Youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Starship Flight Test\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/L5QXreqOrTA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Starship consists of two stages. On the one hand, there is <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/spacex-test-thrusts-starship-ship-we-will-travel-mars-moon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Super Heavy<\/strong>, a powerful 70-meter-high booster composed of 33 Raptor engines<\/a>. On the other hand, we have the Starship module, 49 meters high, and whose purpose (in the future) will be to <strong>transport people and the rocket&#8217;s own cargo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two stages of the spacecraft are <strong>completely reusable<\/strong>, since both can be lowered to Earth, recovered and put back into orbit once they have been properly checked and repaired, something that takes time.
