Season 3 of The Mandalorian has just ended<\/a><\/strong> and has left us as many doubts resolved as new unknowns to be answered<\/strong>. The summary of this batch of episodes is that it has been somewhat irregular if we take into account the first two. However, it has ended with a beautiful ending that opens the door to new stories.<\/p>\n\n\n

3\u00d708<\/a> -spoiler alert for those who haven’t seen it- concludes with the supposed death of Moff Gideon and the reconquest of Mandalore<\/a> by the Mandalorian survivors. But it also does so with something that has surprised and delighted the audience at the same time: Din Djarin adopts Grogu as his son and makes him an apprentice<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All this leaves season 4 open to multiple possibilities<\/strong>, which increase if we take into account that a season 5 has already been announced and the making of a film directed by Dave Filoni that will serve to conclude everything that happened in this series as well as in Ahsoka<\/a> and The Book of Bobba Fett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus, there is much to be resolved and the unknowns are almost bigger than with the third season. So below we will make a list of everything we think may come to pass in season 4 of the series<\/a><\/strong>. Although, for a change, everything will depend on what Filoni and Jon Favreau decide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new adventures of Mando and Grogu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One thing we are very clear about is that season 4 will once again feature independent adventures starring Din Djarin and Din Grogu<\/strong>, which is how the little boy has been named after being adopted by Pedro Pascal’s character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the season 3 finale, the Armera forces both of them to leave Mandalore<\/strong> as they have to go on adventures around the galaxy to carry out Grogu<\/a>‘s apprenticeship. Thus, no matter how much Din Djarin would like to stay put – which is also not the case – he would not be able to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most likely, Filoni and Favreau will take advantage of this new idea to carry out many new adventures starring both of them<\/strong>. Besides, considering that what has been criticized the most about these last chapters is that they did not return to the chapter structure of the first ones, surely they have taken note.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is not clear is if the adventure will be resumed from that moment on or if it will be a few years later and we will see a Grogu who is a bit more mature<\/strong> in his powers. Of course, the latter would be a must, especially now that we have seen what he is capable of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resurgence of Mandalore<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

But the fourth season will also be the moment when we can see the resurgence of Mandalore. After the war against the Moff Gideon, the united Mandalorians have regained their planet, and now they have a clear leader to follow: Bo-Katan Kryze<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Bo-Katan and the Armera as guides, the Mandalorian society will have to adapt to the new planet and show the return of everything they had lost to the Empire. If season 4 makes a small time jump<\/strong>, we will surely see the construction of new cities and the union as a society of the Mandalorians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Undoubtedly, this will be a key point of the fourth season. And, although we will initially go far away with a Mando and a Grogu from mission to mission<\/strong>, I am sure that the series will keep us abreast of what is happening with Mandalore and its people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new villain?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Surely, much of what happens in season 4 of The Mandalorian will have to do with Ahsoka, the series starring Dave Filoni’s favorite character that will premiere this 2023<\/strong>. Filoni has already said that Grand Admiral Thrawn<\/a> will be the enemy to beat for Ahsoka Tano, and considering that he has already been referenced in The Mandalorian, he will most likely be a threat to the Mandalorians as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Filoni and Favreau have announced that there will be a fifth season of The Mandalorian<\/strong>, and that the fourth will be an impasse until that apotheosic finale. In addition, all of these series will end in a movie to be directed by Filoni, so we will most likely see everyone united against Thrawn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be that as it may, a new season full of adventures, action and surprises is expected. Grogu will have a lot to say, as he is slowly making his way as the new protagonist of the series, so it remains to be seen what all this will lead to<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n
