Jonathan Majors<\/a> has had one of the fastest booms and busts in Hollywood in recent years<\/strong>. Everything seemed to indicate that the actor was going to be one of the biggest stars of the future, as he had been cast as Kang, Marvel Studios’ new big villain, and was also making a great run outside as Michael B. Jordan’s rival in Creed III and starring in films like The Last Black Man in San Francisco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, in late March he was arrested in New York<\/a> on alleged charges of strangulation, assault and harassment in the context of a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman<\/strong>. The victim reported to officers that she had been assaulted, and after examination, she was transported to a nearby hospital with minor head and neck injuries in stable condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Majors was released, investigations into the incident began, and it soon became clear that there was a lot behind what appeared to be an isolated case<\/strong>. Several industry personalities who worked with him in the past spoke out, mostly anonymously, against Majors’ character. And his agency Entertainment 360 and PR firm The Lede Company eventually fired him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, things have gotten even worse for the performer. As reported in Variety<\/a>, other alleged victims of Majors’ abuse are cooperating with the Manhattan district attorney’s office<\/strong> to explain more situations suffered by the actor. Apparently, several more women who have suffered at the hands of the actor are testifying against him after the floodgates opened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Jonathan Majors is innocent and has not abused anyone<\/strong>. We have provided irrefutable evidence to the district attorney that the charges are false. We are confident that he will be completely exonerated,” Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry, defends herself in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is unclear what will happen with this particular case, as it appears that the victim does not have enough evidence to be able to win the trial. However, statements from other victims of Jonathan Majors could be crucial<\/strong> in swinging the case against him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is clear is that his career will be greatly affected by what has happened<\/strong>. He is already losing some roles he was going to be given, and everyone seems to be waiting to see what Marvel Studios<\/a> does before making a concrete decision. Whatever happens, Majors’ career seems to be over.<\/p>\n\n\n
