Adobe<\/a><\/strong> has confirmed it: the company will launch a new feature that would merge artificial intelligence capabilities with its famous Adobe Illustrator<\/strong> program. Thanks to this, Illustrator will now allow users to adjust color schemes in vector images, all through a generative model based on artificial intelligence<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n

This means that we can load our own SVG files into Illustrator<\/a>‘s Vector Recoloring<\/strong> tool and generate different colors and palette variations in a matter of seconds. According to Adobe<\/a>, this would be the first tool that would allow us to modify vector color<\/strong> with AI on the market. In addition, it is also presented as part of the next phase of Adobe Firefly<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vector recoloration<\/strong> feature can be tested right now as part of the beta version of Firefly. However, Adobe<\/a> has not mentioned when the full version of the tool will arrive yet. Unlike other generative AIs<\/a>, the feature does not produce images, but offers new ways to change the color palette in existing vector files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those who are not so familiar with these terms, vector graphics or SVG files differ from other image formats such as the widely used JPEG. The great advantage of vector graphics is that they can be scaled to any size without affecting their quality. In other words: the images are never pixelated<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n
