This includes shows such as The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/chronicle-oscars-2023-all-everything-everywhere-all-at-once-brendan-fraser?ex=DINS-635.1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/a>, The Tonight Show, hosted by <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/shakira-bizarrap-show-jimmy-fallon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jimmy Fallon<\/a>, and The Daily Show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All of these shows have been canceled <strong>in support of the Writers Guild of America (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/wga-oscars-everything-everywhere-all-at-once\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WGA<\/a>), which <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/writers-strike-hollywood-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">has just called an indefinite strike<\/a><\/strong> until the working conditions of writers across the country are reviewed. Screenwriters&#8217; strikes in the United States are very serious. The last one came in 2007 and caused the loss of 2 billion dollars to California, so everything seems to indicate that they are not going to mess around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the case of Jimmy Fallon, the host has made it very clear that he wouldn&#8217;t be what he was without writers, nor would his show be the same. In a <strong>short interview at the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/met-gala-2023-best-looks-moments\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Met Gala<\/a><\/strong>, he got serious for the first time in a long time and gave his support to the writers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Jimmy Fallon on the potential writers strike: &quot;I wouldn&#39;t have a show if it wasn&#39;t for my writers, and I support them all the way.&quot; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/m94XaFKHbE\">https:\/\/t.co\/m94XaFKHbE<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/oKLq4GrgkR\">pic.twitter.com\/oKLq4GrgkR<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Variety (@Variety) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Variety\/status\/1653195922459836416?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 2, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The unions are asking for several improvements in their profession<\/strong>, among which are integrated some 600 million dollars more in salaries, a dignification of their work, optimized schedules and a good distribution of royalties for copyright, since Netflix and other platforms do not yield their data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But <strong>one of the most interesting complaints from the WGA is <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/scriptwriters-against-artificial-intelligence-chatgpt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the fight against Artificial Intelligence<\/a><\/strong>. They ask that chatbots cannot affect their work in any way, and demand that it be regulated by law.
