The sequel will arrive next <strong>November 3, 2023<\/strong>, and will bring back <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/confirmed-kylie-jenner-and-timothee-chalamet-would-be-dating\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a> as Paul Atreides and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/zendaya-returns-to-stage-7-years-later-to-sing-songs-from-euphoria-at-coachella-2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zendaya<\/a> as Chani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Dune: Part Two | Official Trailer\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Way9Dexny3w?start=1&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Both in the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/the-dune-2-trailer-is-everything-a-fan-would-want-to-see-in-the-cinema\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">official trailer<\/a> and the poster of the film<\/strong>, we have been able to realize that Chani will have a much more important role in the story. But it is important that you memorize this name, because it is one of the most important in Dune and <strong>who marks the fate of the character at any given time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Irulan is the eldest of the five daughters of Shaddam IV, the 81st Emperor Padishah. The character does not appear until the final stretch of Frank Herbert&#8217;s book, but her appearance is essential to the plot. Irulan is raised from birth to have very little influence in her own life, and trains in the ways of the Bene Gesserit to one day be a Reverend Mother. The ensuing battle between the Fremen and the Emperor&#8217;s Sardaukar heavily favors Paul&#8217;s armies, and leaves the Emperor with no choice but to forge a truce in which Paul becomes the new Emperor and marries Princess Irulan. She is thus the future wife of Chalamet&#8217;s character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Just as happened with Little Women<\/strong>, a film in which Chalamet and Pugh ended up together despite not seeming destined, this same thing is what we may end up seeing in Dune. In the original story, his real love is Chani, but after a series of events and realizing that he must accept his destiny, Paul Atreides ends up accepting the engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite being essential to the ending of the film, it is true that <strong>it seems that we will see very little of Pugh in the film<\/strong>; something like <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/breaking-bad-artificial-intelligence-casting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zendaya<\/a> in the first one. Thus, <strong>he will be his successor and will have to take the crown of his house to the top<\/strong>, but in front of him he will have Paul Atreides and a war for which he will not be prepared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Feyd-Rautha is also the product of a genetic program developed hundreds of generations ago by the Bene Gesserit, and his legend is imprinted.
