As reported by Variety<\/a>, Ortega has been chosen by Burton to star in the sequel to Beetlejuice<\/strong>, a 1988 film that is remembered as one of Tim Burton’s best. The actress will play the daughter of Lydia Deetz, the protagonist of the first film played by Winona Ryder, and will return to accompany the ghost in a great adventure whose plot is still unknown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jenna Ortega will not be alone<\/strong>. They have also been confirmed as part of the cast Michael Keaton<\/a><\/strong>, who will play Beetlejuice again, and Winona Ryder<\/strong>, who will play Lydia again. Finally, Justin Theroux<\/strong> (The Leftovers<\/a>) has been confirmed as part of the cast, although in a role that has not yet been revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
