Disney remakes<\/a> continue to be a source of constant debate<\/strong>. Although the studio seems to have gotten its act together by making films as good as Peter Pan & Wendy, the memory of the remakes of Mulan or The Lion King are still a source of constant discussion. But if there is one film that is dividing audiences before it has even been released, it is The Little Mermaid<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Beyond the racial issues that are bringing out more than one, one of the controversies of The Little Mermaid is the appearance of characters like Sebastian or Flounder<\/strong>, who in the original film were cute, funny and endearing, and in the new version they try to be so realistic that they end up looking like taxidermy exercises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those who have already seen the movie say it’s not that bad, and beyond making it clear that Melissa McCarthy is far from being the Ursula that was needed<\/strong>, they say that the movie is not as disastrous as they expected\u2026 and it’s even good. It won’t be until May 26th that the rest of the world will be able to get the idea, but in the meantime we can see some images that shed a little more light on what it all looks like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While in the original trailer they criticized the low light of the image and the desaturation of the colors, in a new clip that has come out of The Little Mermaid we can see that this has changed quite a bit<\/strong>. Specifically, it is an excerpt from the song Under the Sea, the famous classic sung by Sebastian brought to reality in live action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
