24 hours. That’s all that’s left for gamers to get their hands on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom<\/a><\/strong>. That Nintendo’s title is going to be an unparalleled success is an understatement: I haven’t seen so much anticipation – or hype, if you prefer – since the launch of Elden Ring<\/a> during last year’s February 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n

Just a few hours ago, a thread was opened<\/a> on Resetera that spoke for itself about everything that the game is generating: “Which title are you going to abandon this Friday for Tears of the Kingdom? It doesn’t get any clearer than that, and there’s no denying that he’s right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the moment, Link’s next adventure is the best seller on Amazon<\/a><\/strong>. But it doesn’t stop there: the console themed for the occasion<\/a> also occupies the number 1 spot, as well as the game’s guide in the book category<\/a>. Right now, everything Zelda touches turns to gold or wine<\/strong>, whichever you prefer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every piece of information is met with a cheer. For example, today we learned that the development studio has listened to players after Breath of the Wild. How? Well, by bringing back the classic dungeons<\/strong>, or so at least Hidemaro Fujibayashi, Takuhiro Dohta and Satoru Takizawa told us in a recent development diary<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This time around, the dungeons are huge and each has its own region-related appearance<\/strong>, just like traditional The Legend of Zelda games. We believe they will give a satisfying challenge for players – it was a great challenge to develop!” they pointed out in the development diary. “They have changed since The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. For example, there’s a dungeon that connects directly from the surface of Hyrule. If you launch from the sky directly into the dungeon, it triggers an event. We believe this is an experience that was not possible in the previous game. We have created unique dungeons for their corresponding biomes<\/strong>, so you will enjoy the unique characteristics of each region.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
