We already have a trailer, and as one of those franchises that have defined modern action cinema, it&#8217;s only natural that it stirs up passions. <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/tom-cruise-the-impossible-actor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Especially when Tom Cruise hasn&#8217;t stopped pushing the limits<\/a>, film after film, proving that age is just a number, at least when you&#8217;re a Hollywood actor and he is. That&#8217;s why <strong>it&#8217;s time to catch up and gather all the information we have about the movie<\/strong> because even though we still have a little while until we see it on our screens, we can start preparing ourselves for what awaits us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed-Youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol Official Trailer #1 - Tom Cruise Movie (2011) HD\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EDGYVFZxsXQ?start=2&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Date and technical data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>First and foremost, the most important detail is the release date. <strong>Mission: Impossible &#8211; Deadly Judgement Part 1 is set to premiere on July 12, 2023<\/strong>, while Mission: Impossible &#8211; Deadly Judgement Part 2 is scheduled for release on June 28, 2023. However, these dates primarily apply to the United States, as it hasn&#8217;t been confirmed yet whether it will be a global release or not. Therefore, we still have to wait for further information regarding the release date in Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The synopsis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We still know very little about the plot of the movie. What we do know is that we <strong>will learn more about the personal life of Benji Dunn, the character portrayed by Simon Pegg<\/strong>. Well, actually, no surprises at all. Tom Cruise continues to lead the franchise as Ethan Hunt, Rebecca Ferguson returns as Ilsa, as we mentioned earlier, Simon Pegg will have a significant role as Benji, Ving Rhames will reprise his role as Luther Stickell, and there is a small surprise. <strong>Henry Czerny, who appeared only in the first installment, returns to portray Eugene Kittridge, who was formerly the head of the IMF<\/strong>. This is likely to have a special significance in the movie&#8217;s script.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The script<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The screenplay <strong>is being handled by familiar faces of the franchise, Andr\u00e9 Nemec and Josh Appelbaum<\/strong>. Both of them worked on the script for Mission: Impossible &#8211; Ghost Protocol, which is arguably <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/the-mission-impossible-movies-ordered-from-worst-to-best\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the best film in the series to date<\/a>. They also wrote the scripts for the two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies directed by Jonathan Liebesman, which may not have been highly acclaimed but were still enjoyable. While it&#8217;s true that they haven&#8217;t had any other major successes in terms of screenwriting outside of the success of Ghost Protocol, their work on that film gives us confidence in their abilities to carry forward the seventh and eighth installments of the franchise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2023\/05\/sentencia-mortal-2-800x450-2-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-230843\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The director<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, Christopher McQuarrie is also returning. Apart from having a career as a screenwriter, <strong>before entering the franchise with Mission: Impossible &#8211; Rogue Nation<\/strong>, <strong>he directed and wrote the screenplay for the highly enjoyable film Jack Reacher in 2012<\/strong>, which was an adaptation of Lee Child&#8217;s novel &#8220;One Shot&#8221; and also starred Tom Cruise. Since then, he has directed two films in the Mission: Impossible franchise and will be directing two more, solidifying himself as one of the franchise&#8217;s most valuable assets alongside Tom Cruise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The music<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For the soundtrack, they have decided to collaborate once again with the composer who has become a trusted collaborator for Paramount Pictures, and perhaps even for Tom Cruise himself. <strong>Lorne Balfe returns to compose the score, after his work on Mission: Impossible &#8211; Fallout<\/strong>, following an impressive string of major soundtrack projects such as Black Adam, Top Gun: Maverick, and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/the-transformers-movies-ordered-from-worst-to-best\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Transformers: Rise of the Beasts<\/a>. The filming was initially scheduled to begin on February 20, 2020, but <strong>the COVID-19 pandemic indefinitely delayed production<\/strong>. It wasn&#8217;t until April 20, 2021, that filming could finally commence, causing this movie, like many others, to navigate through multiple delays and challenges stemming from the global pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The images<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Until the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/we-have-trailer-for-mission-impossible-deadly-judgment-part-one-seventh-delivery-of-mission-impossible\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recent trailer was released<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DailyMailCeleb\/status\/1239925658920288261\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">the only images we had of the film came from the Daily Mail<\/a> when they captured footage in 2020 of Tom Cruise performing various stunts on a closed circuit with a motorcycle and a car. With less than two months until its release, they are <strong>trying to maintain maximum secrecy to create the greatest excitement among fans upon its release<\/strong>, as is customary for any project involving Tom Cruise.
