The music world is in turmoil after an event that has left us all with our mouths open: a Spanish artist posting some nude photos of Rosalía on his Instagram. The singer claimed that the artist herself had passed them on to him.

Rosalía, after discovering what JC Reyes had done, posted a tweet venting and making clear her position on JC Reyes’ Instagram post.

And the fact is that publishing manipulated photos on social networks of her naked with Photoshop is very strong and very illegal, surely.

Ir a buscar clout faltando el respeto y sexualizando a alguien es un tipo d violencia y da asco pero hacerlo por 4 plays de + lo q da es pena
— R O S A L Í A (@rosalia) May 23, 2023

Rosalia naked? It was all a JC Reyes fake

“Going to look for clout disrespecting and sexualizing someone is a type of violence and it’s disgusting but doing it for 4 plays of + what it gives is shame,” Rosalía wrote on Twitter on Tuesday, May 23.

For those who know, clout is what artists call positioning and relevance. Of course, by using Rosalia, he knew that everyone would talk about his music and he would become famous for a few hours.

According to screenshots circulating on social media, Reyes, or someone with access to her Instagram account, shared the photos on her Stories.

""

They appeared to be altered versions of photos Rosalía had originally taken and shared of herself in which the artist is seen sunbathing in a bikini and wearing a green shirt.

Although the photos have since been removed from Reyes’ Instagram Stories, he appeared to show them off – and suggest that Rosalia had sent them to him – in a later live video.

At one point in the video, Reyes says, “I can’t be posting photos of a woman who sends me that. It would be shameless. I was thinking about how bad she felt. It wasn’t for her to get so angry about it.”

Reyes then shared another video on Instagram Stories tagging Rosalia’s fiancé, Rauw Alejandro. In the clip, Reyes sings a snippet of “Mas Rica Que Ayer” by Anuel AA, DJ Luian and Mambo Kingz, altering the lyrics, “Y muchos corazone’ roto’/¿Será que el novio la dejó?” to “Y muchos corazone’ roto’/¿Será que Rauw la dejó?”.
