HBO Max<\/a> is gradually transforming into Max<\/a><\/strong>, a new platform that has already been integrated in the United States but will not be globally available until the beginning of next year. This name change will not come alone, but with dozens of novelties, including a new Game of Thrones spin-off<\/a> and, surprise, a<\/strong> complete remake of Harry Potter<\/strong><\/a> in series format<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

This Harry Potter<\/a> remake, as seen in the teaser where it was announced, will retain some key elements such as the music and aesthetics<\/strong>. However, it will feature an entirely new cast to portray the main characters, which is logical but hasn’t been entirely well-received by the fandom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nevertheless, many are wondering if we will have, as is customary nowadays, cameos from the original actors or nods beyond the obvious. And, of course, the main person affected by all of this is Daniel Radcliffe<\/strong>, who portrayed Potter in all the feature films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you willing to do a cameo?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In an interview with Deadline<\/a>, Radcliffe was asked about whether he would be willing to make a special appearance in this new Harry Potter series. The actor has been quite clear on the matter:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I don’t think so, no. From everything I’ve read about the series, they’re starting from scratch, so it would be a bit strange to see me there. I think Harry Potter<\/a> was always meant to become a character like Sherlock Holmes<\/strong>. There’s probably an eight-year-old kid out there whose life is going to change in a couple of years, and that’s where my mind goes.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Radcliffe himself states, a cameo from him would be more of a distraction than anything else, and the focus should be on the new actors. However, who knows? The actor has become a skilled performer in recent years<\/strong>, so perhaps they may offer him a different role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
