For that reason, Microsoft has announced that users of Windows 11 from 2021 will no longer receive security updates starting from October 10th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Windows 11 21H2, the first version that kicked off <strong>a new generation of interfaces and usability<\/strong>, will no longer receive security patches this fall. Therefore, <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-US\/lifecycle\/announcements\/windows-11-21h2-end-of-servicing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">as reflected in Microsoft&#8217;s blog<\/a>, the company recommends that we <strong>update to the latest operational version possible<\/strong> to ensure our PC is not vulnerable to new threats. While many were not entirely satisfied, <strong>there was the option to revert back to Windows 10<\/strong>. But sooner or later, reluctant users will have to make the leap because we know that the 22H2 version of <strong>Windows 10 will also end support on October 14, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This still gives a few years of leeway, especially to <strong>users of older PCs that do not support Windows 11<\/strong>. Over these two years, both skeptical users and those in need of new hardware will have to consider abandoning Windows 10 <strong>before security patches stop being updated<\/strong>.
