However, there are those who support Elon Musk no matter what he does. In this case, he&#8217;s changing a brand that has become a part of everyday language (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/you-wont-believe-it-elon-musk-changes-for-the-third-time-the-twitter-logo-again-yes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Twitter<\/a>) into a letter (&#8220;X&#8221;) that means nothing to anyone. Questions like: How would Twitter Videos be called now if XVideos is already taken? Why choose a name that already has copyright by <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/the-controversies-of-x-with-its-logo-a-plagiarism-and-a-bill-of-barely-30-dollars\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Meta<\/a>? How did he come up with changing the logo on the offices without permission from the city of San Francisco? And most importantly, <strong>what would happen to @X, the person who chose that username 16 years ago?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gene X. Wang was the person behind the most coveted Twitter account for <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/the-twitter-of-elon-musk-in-bankruptcy-everything-seems-to-indicate-that-within-a-very-little\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Musk<\/a>, and he had been waiting for an email from Musk and his team since the name change was announced. And it arrived. However, they didn&#8217;t offer him any financial compensation or recognition of any kind. Musk, as a billionaire, believes that <strong>he can simply take what he thinks is his<\/strong>. Apparently, Musk names his children with the same names as Twitter accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the end, Wang ended up writing on his new account, <strong>&#8220;All&#8217;s well that ends well,&#8221;<\/strong> suggesting that either he received some money from X, or at least he settled for not having his account completely deleted. His bio still says, &#8220;Very interesting times,&#8221; but deep down, he probably wishes for less interesting times and to still have the little <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/twitter-is-going-to-change-forever-goodbye-to-the-social-network-we-all-knew\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">blue bird<\/a>.
