Thanks to roleplay, GTA V<\/strong> has managed to stay at the top all these years. Rockstar knows this, so it’s no surprise that the company has announced the acquisition of Cfx.re<\/a>. This team is behind FiveM <\/strong>and RedM<\/strong>, the biggest roleplay and creator communities.<\/p>\n\n\n

In an official statement, Rockstar explains that they have been “enthusiastic” about how the community has expanded the universes of Grand Theft Auto V<\/a> and Red Dead Redemption 2<\/a> through these dedicated roleplay servers. They add that they have “recently expanded the modding policy to officially include those made by the creative roleplay community.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certainly, this would be a logical move by Rockstar, as they have identified a significant opportunity to explore for the future of the franchise. However, this leaves us with some questions: Will we see a dedicated roleplay game mode in the future GTA 6<\/a>?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
