It was two or three months of title scarcity, of not seeing anything new on store shelves. But that&#8217;s a thing of the past: now, any week in July or August is brimming with great works, and this week from <strong>August 14th to 20th<\/strong> is the prelude to what&#8217;s to come in the final two weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Softonic, we&#8217;re here to tell you about <strong>all the games arriving this week<\/strong>, many of them completely free. Get your notebook and pen ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Everspace 2 (August 15)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">RockFish Games&#8217; RPG arrived this past Monday, August 15th, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S after its debut on PC last year. No introduction needed, right? A spacefaring game where we&#8217;re in for a ton of enjoyment. Cooperative play is highly recommended for some good laughs. The first entry performed quite well, so it&#8217;s anticipated that the second will achieve similar success. (August 16)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the big surprises from the Summer Game Fest two months ago: <strong>En Garde!<\/strong> The fencing video game arrives on PC today after a resounding social media campaign fueled by users. Developed by Fireplace Games, a small French studio, this fun and humorous game where the sword takes center stage is poised to be one of the indies of the year. It&#8217;s available only for PC (for now).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed-Youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"En Garde! \u2013 Official Launch Trailer\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MfUmgmMp964?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood (August 16)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new video game from the Valencian studio <strong>Deconstructeam <\/strong>arrives on August 16th with very positive previews. <strong>&#8220;The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood&#8221;<\/strong> is a narrative experience where we have to create our own tarot deck to shape our future. The classic <strong>&#8220;Red Dead Redemption&#8221;<\/strong> is now arriving on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 over a decade later. What does this mean? It means that the annual installment of the Electronic Arts video game is finally here. It&#8217;s available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed-Youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Madden 24 Official Gameplay Trailer\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/oCwfUE-dUrI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bomb Rush Cyberfunk (August 18)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The spiritual sequel to Jet Set Radio arrives this August under the name <strong>&#8220;Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.&#8221;<\/strong> Good music, skates, and all the hallmark features that made the original game famous, but now with a new twist. It&#8217;s launching on PC and Nintendo Switch.
