The adaptation of the PlayStation video game has captivated both audiences and critics alike, making it evident that the platform is fully committed to the series’ future. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, Craig Mazin<\/strong>, the creator of the series, confirmed that they themselves still don’t know how many more seasons of The Last of Us there will be, even though he initially mentioned there would be four: ‘I was aware I said [there would be four seasons]. You never know. It could be three, it could be five, but four seems like a good number<\/strong>.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mazin further clarifies, ‘Certain seasons, because of the story we’re telling, may require fewer episodes, and others may require more,’ which is why the creative team is still uncertain. However, he emphasizes that the most positive aspect is that ‘the audience wants more.'”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
