The entertainment industry is in a slump. Not only is there a major strike threatening to bring everything down, but companies like Disney and Warner are also canceling series and movies to cut costs<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n

This isn’t the first time Disney has canceled series for Disney Plus and Hulu. In May, we revealed that their TV libraries for Disney Plus and Hulu were about to shed weight, with cancellations like Willow, Pistol, and Y: The Last Man<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Deadline, Disney’s television adaptation of the book series The Spiderwick Chronicles<\/strong>, which was set to premiere on Disney+, has been canceled by the entertainment giant<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the same outlet also reports that Disney’s live-action series Nautilus has been scrapped<\/strong>. The series starring Captain Nemo was also set to premiere on Disney’s main streaming platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
