The machine will be used for various artificial intelligence (AI) <\/strong>applications, but the cluster is so powerful that it could also be used for demanding high-performance computing (HPC) workloads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact,<strong> the Nvidia H100-based supercomputer will be one of the most powerful machines in the world<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Tomorrow, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Tesla?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Tesla<\/a> will turn on a massive and very expensive 10,000 unit NVIDIA H100 GPU cluster to help it train FSD. Sawyer Merritt (@SawyerMerritt) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SawyerMerritt\/status\/1696011140508045660?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 28, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Specifications of a computer that can dominate us all<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tesla&#8217;s new cluster will employ 10,000 Nvidia H100 compute GPUs<\/strong>, delivering a peak performance of 340 FP64 PFLOPS for technical computing and 39.58 INT8 ExaFLOPS for AI applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact, <strong>Tesla&#8217;s 340 FP64 PFLOPS exceeds the 304 FP64 PFLOPS offered by Leonardo, the world&#8217;s fourth highest performing supercomputer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With its new supercomputer, <strong>Tesla is significantly improving its computing power<\/strong> to train its full autonomous driving technology (FSD) faster than ever before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not only could this make Tesla more competitive than other automakers, but it <strong>will make the company the owner of one of the world&#8217;s fastest supercomputers in AI computing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Why Tesla\u2019s AI Super Computer Is About To Take Over!\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bQlxvBh2eS4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
