Yesterday they announced it at the end of a press release that had as main claim the PS Plus games for September<\/a>. Hence, many were not aware of it and others criticized the Japanese company for “trying to sneak” the information.<\/p>\n\n\n

Well, Sony has announced that prices for subscriptions to its PlayStation Plus service will be increasing in a matter of days<\/strong>, with price hikes across all three tiers\u2026 and not just a little.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The increase was announced yesterday in an official blog<\/a> post revealing September’s free games, hence why many people haven’t heard about it yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It's true that subscription prices have been going up across the board but it's normally like 10% or less.
