As Windows Latest points out, if you take a screenshot this way, the resolution of the resulting image will be that of your desktop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, <strong>if you use the new copy frame option with Edge, the capture will have the native resolution<\/strong> of the video (if you are viewing a 4K clip, the resolution will be 4K, even if you are viewing the content at 1080p on your monitor).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another advantage of using the new frame grabbing feature is that you don&#8217;t have to worry about the YouTube video being full screen, or that there are no menu chunks in the shot, and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Microsoft Edge\u2019s \u2018Copy Frame\u2019 feature lets you easily capture YouTube screenshots\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TPtkWKi0TIs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With minimal effort, just extract the entire video frame in its native resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>It&#8217;s not a great feature, no, but it&#8217;s useful for those who occasionally want to take a screenshot of YouTube<\/strong>.
