We present you with the perfect cast"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s already a reality: the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/reviews-one-piece-netflix-best-live-action-anime\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">live-action adaptation of One Piece<\/a> <strong>has turned out to be a great success.<\/strong> Netflix&#8217;s series was expected to be another misstep in its catalog, especially considering how other adaptations, like Death Note or Cowboy Bebop, had turned out. However, thanks to their good work and the assistance of Eiichiro Oda, the series about the Pirate King has worked perfectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This success opens the doors to a multitude of new possibilities for <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/what-will-we-see-in-season-2-of-netflix-one-piece\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Netflix<\/a>. <strong>What&#8217;s next?<\/strong> Beyond the second season of One Piece, which should be coming soon, there are many anime series in the platform&#8217;s catalog that could receive an adaptation following this new path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fullmetal Alchemist, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/order-attack-on-titan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Attack on Titan<\/a>, Demon Slayer\u2026 there are many IPs that, now that it has been proven possible, <strong>could follow the path of One Piece.<\/strong> But there&#8217;s one that&#8217;s even more successful than One Piece and, surprisingly, could potentially have an anime adaptation that lives up to it: Naruto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"ONE PIECE | Official Teaser Trailer | Netflix\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lNMSqxQtO0w?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Discover the perfect cast for Naruto<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Naruto is <strong>one of the most popular manga of the 21st century<\/strong>, and alongside One Piece and Bleach, it was part of the Big Three for years, a trio so popular that it helped the genre grow worldwide. A well-executed adaptation may seem challenging, but with the right casting, as seen with <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/one-piece-postcredits-smoker-netflix\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">One Piece<\/a>, it could turn out well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From Screen Rant, they have made a proposal, and when combined with our ideas,<a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/naruto-live-action-movie-casting-actors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"> there are indeed reasons for excitement<\/a>. However, it&#8217;s unclear whether they would go for a Japanese cast given the ninja theme or, as in the case of One Piece, they might be more flexible. However, <strong>there&#8217;s an actor who would fit well as the young version of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/new-anime-naruto-delay\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Naruto<\/a>: Oakes Fegley.<\/strong> He has appeared in The Fabelmans and Pete&#8217;s Dragon, and he&#8217;s a young Hollywood star. However, he&#8217;s already 18 years old, so if they want to adapt Naruto&#8217;s childhood stage, it may be challenging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/2\/2023\/09\/naruto1-1024x720.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-305151\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sasuke &#8211; Tenzing Norgay Trainor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Sasuke, Naruto&#8217;s rival and another of the main protagonists, a good option could be Tenzing Norgay Trainor, known for appearing in Clueless or Abominable. However, once again, he is 22 years old, so <strong>it would have to be for the Naruto Shippuden stage.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/2\/2023\/09\/naruto2-1024x720.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-305152\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sakura &#8211; Oona O&#8217;Brien<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The third member of Team 7, Sakura, <strong>could be played by Oona O&#8217;Brien<\/strong>, an Asian actress who has already showcased her acting skills in <a href=\"https:\/\/cobra-kai-the-karate-kid-saga-continues.en.softonic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cobra Kai<\/a>. She would be a great counterpart to Sasuke and Naruto and could perfectly capture the essence of her character. Once again, age could pose a challenge, but there are potential solutions to consider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/2\/2023\/09\/naruto3-1024x720.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-305153\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kakashi &#8211; Ludi Lin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kakashi sensei, the leader of Team 7, is an experienced ninja and one of the most well-developed characters in the manga (if not the best). For this significant role, a good choice could be Ludi Lin, a Chinese-Canadian actor and model who has appeared in <strong>Mortal Kombat, Power Rangers, and Kung Fu<\/strong>. He&#8217;s an expert in martial arts, which would make him a fitting candidate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/2\/2023\/09\/ludi-lin.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-305154\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Orochimaru &#8211; Mark Dacascos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The primary antagonist in the early part of Naruto is Orochimaru, a deadly enemy who threatens the entire village and confronts the protagonists until he ensnares Sasuke. An ideal cast for this villain could be Mark Dacascos, an actor who has already appeared in <strong>Knights of the Zodiac and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/john-wick-order-spinoffs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">John Wick 3<\/a><\/strong>. With the right characterization, he would make a formidable adversary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/2\/2023\/09\/mark-decascos-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-305155\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Shikamaru &#8211; Daniel DiMaggio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While there are many young ninja characters to consider for the perfect cast, one of the most important is undoubtedly Shikamaru. An ideal choice for this character could be <strong>Daniel DiMaggio, whom we have already seen in American Housewife.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/2\/2023\/09\/naruto4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-305156\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gaara &#8211; Ty Tenant<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And for Gaara, another significant antagonist in Naruto who ultimately becomes an ally, Ty Tennant could be a good choice. Ty Tennant, the son of David Tennant, is already well-known thanks to his role in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/filming-season-2-the-house-of-the-dragon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;House of the Dragon.&#8221;<\/a> <strong>If you already dislike him for his character in that HBO Max series, you might dislike him even more in Naruto.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/2\/2023\/09\/ty-tennant-casa-dragon-2833711-1-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-305158\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other characters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are many other crucial characters whose casting would be essential to make this series successful. <strong>From the Third Hokage to Tsunade, including Jiraiya,<\/strong> the list of characters is vast, and they all need to be well-defined.
