In its latest iteration, KMPlayer introduced 3D features. Not only can you stream 3D content but you can turn your 2D content into 3D. Here&#8217;s how:<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>When launching KMPlayer, you will be greeted by a bunch of tiles, one of which touts its 3D capability. Clicking on that will bring you to the &#8220;3D Movie Plus&#8221; section which has a bunch of different 3D trailers for you to stream.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/onsoftware.en.softonic.com\/kmplayers-3d-features\/26-04-2012-19-05-35-small\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-24787 noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24787\" title=\"KMPlayer 3D [small]\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2012\/04\/26-04-2012-19-05-35-small.png\" alt=\"KMPlayer 3D [small]\" width=\"500\" height=\"345\" srcset=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2012\/04\/26-04-2012-19-05-35-small.png 500w, https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2012\/04\/26-04-2012-19-05-35-small-300x207.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Streaming 3D trailers in HD is a very slow affair, even with our quick connection. Once everything is buffered, you will be greeted with a 3D image that you can use regular <a title=\"anaglyph 3d\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Anaglyph_3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">anaglyph 3D<\/a> glasses (red and blue). Videos were cropped and stretched out during testing so this is more of a gimmick at the moment. It is a <strong>fun gimmick<\/strong> but image quality and color reproduction really suffer when using anaglyph 3D filters. If you don&#8217;t want to spend thousands on a new 3D capable monitor or TV, then give KMPlayer&#8217;s 3D features a try.
