Quoting content in Threads will be possible<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Adam Mosseri, CEO of Instagram<\/a>, revealed this information in response to a user’s post requesting the implementation of quoting in the web version. Mosseri didn’t hesitate to confirm that it is “on the way<\/strong>” and is currently being tested<\/strong> for future implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This addition to the web version of Threads<\/strong> would allow users to enjoy a browsing experience closer to what the official app offers. However, Threads will also need to continue advancing<\/strong> in more features to remain a valuable alternative for regular Twitter (or X, if we consider Elon Musk’s proposed name<\/a>) users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pulling the thread of Threads<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Threads currently faces two major challenges<\/strong>. The first, as mentioned earlier, is to stop the user exodus after its strong start<\/a> because the app is struggling to retain users<\/strong> who initially started using the platform. To achieve this, they will need to continue working on appealing features and other methods to attract an audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second challenge is to modify its legal policies to comply with European Union regulations<\/strong>. Its privacy regulations are illegal in European territory<\/a>, which has been a significant obstacle in terms of user traffic<\/strong>. If Meta adapts these regulations to European laws, which are designed to protect consumer information, Threads can operate in Spain as well<\/strong> and test its potential to establish itself in the old continent.<\/p>\n\n\n
