I think we can be honest now, considering the success of PS5<\/a> and Xbox Series, and say that Oculus ultimately ended up more as a curiosity and technical toy than the future of gaming<\/strong>. Oculus Quest 2 sold ten million units worldwide, and its integration with Facebook made it strangely popular (they even called it Meta Quest 2, in fact), but it was a mirage. Now, for no apparent reason, its games are starting to disappear. It doesn’t look good if you’re a fan of virtual reality.<\/p>\n\n\n

Oculus or ocodes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

They have announced the closure of three games<\/a>: ‘Dead and Buried’, ‘Dead and Buried II’, and ‘Bogo’. The reasons? They are unknown. Will they refund the 20 euros that one of them cost? <\/strong>It’s uncertain. The only thing we know is that on March 15, 2024, they will disappear completely. Just like that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are contacting you to let you know that Dead and Buried will no longer be available from Friday, March 15, 2024. You can continue hunting ghosts and other creatures on your Rift, Rift S, or Quest<\/a> (via link) until 11:59 PM on that date.”<\/strong> The sequel to the Old West shooting game and the virtual pet Bogo have also received similar messages. It doesn’t leave much room for doubt, to be honest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
