With the release of the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, Apple has introduced a very interesting feature: a programmable physical button known as the Action Button. This button replaces the traditional mute\/sound<\/strong> switch <\/strong>that used to be located above the volume buttons, and this change also brings a slight interface adjustment: a mute indicator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Mute yes, indicator no (or vice versa)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The action button offers multiple functionalities but loses the ability to let us know whether the phone is muted<\/strong> or not just by looking at it. Whether we use it to open the camera, run a shortcut, or mute the iPhone, there is no visual indicator of that status on the button itself, because there is one next to the time on the device’s screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
