To be honest, you could interact with Gmail from a Wear OS smartwatch before, but it only allowed you to archive, reply, or delete emails directly from the notification that the device displayed when receiving a message. This has, of course, changed, and now the experience is comprehensive right from the watch itself.

When we talk about a comprehensive experience, we mean that now, from your Wear OS smartwatch, you can check your Gmail inbox, manually update it, open emails, and interact with them as if you were doing it from your smartphone or PC. You can even switch between Google accounts seamlessly.
