Jumping from the United Kingdom to the United States, Netflix<\/a> has decided to tell the story of one of the most important figures of the 21st century for North America<\/strong>. Undoubtedly, we have seen almost everything about the life of JFK, but a series about his life in the pure style of The Crown seems interesting enough to potentially become a new major success for the VOD service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The definitive series about JFK<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As reported by the Variety<\/a><\/strong> portal, Netflix will produce this series about J.F. Kennedy based on the book JFK: Coming Of Age In The American Century<\/strong>, 1917-1956 by Frederik Logevall. This means they would adapt the president’s entire life until his fateful assassination in 1956. We will see his childhood, his adulthood, and his journey to the White House in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Netflix itself sees this series as a kind of American version of The Crown, so they will invest in it with a substantial budget and a high-caliber cast. The specific team has not been announced yet, but what has been confirmed is that Eric Roth, the screenwriter of Martin Scorsese’s recent film Killers of the Flower Moon<\/a><\/strong> and an Oscar winner for Forrest Gump, will be in charge of writing and serving as an executive producer for the project. It is clear, therefore, that the series could not be in better hands.<\/p>\n\n\n
