On September 27th, <strong>NASA<\/strong>&#8216;s Parker Solar Probe <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.nasa.gov\/parkersolarprobe\/2023\/09\/28\/for-the-record-parker-solar-probe-sets-distance-speed-marks-on-17th-swing-by-the-sun\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">became the fastest human-made object<\/a>. The probe sent by the U.S. space agency <strong>reached a speed of 635,266 kilometers per hour<\/strong> as it approached the Sun at<strong> a distance of only 7.26 million kilometers<\/strong>, closer than any other spacecraft before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Launched in August 2018, the Parker Solar Probe&#8217;s mission is to<strong> study the Sun&#8217;s corona<\/strong>, the outermost layer of its atmosphere. To achieve this, it utilizes <strong>gravitational assists from Venus<\/strong>, allowing it to lose orbital energy and &#8220;fall&#8221; closer to the Sun. By analyzing these images, scientists will be able to gain a better understanding of how the Sun operates and how to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/this-is-how-we-have-been-able-to-detect-the-strongest-solar-storm-ever-recorded\">predi<\/a><a
