The actors are still on strike. The struggle has now reached 100 days, and it seems that there is a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. In a series of posts published on X, the Screen Actors Guild\u2010American Federation of Television and Radio Artists<\/strong> (SAG-AFTRA) announced that the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers<\/strong> (AMPTP) had invited them back to the negotiating table.<\/p>\n\n\n

In that post, the official SAG-AFTRA profile announced, “official negotiations will resume on Tuesday, October 24th<\/strong>.” This would be a new opportunity to build bridges after the meetings failed on October 11th. At that time, the studios complained that the actors’ demands were too costly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
