Firstly, <strong>they removed the &#8220;HBO&#8221; label from their name, rebranding it as <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/these-are-all-the-hbo-max-premieres-for-november-2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Max<\/a><\/strong>, a platform that will be integrated internationally early next year. Recently, they started selling off some of the brand&#8217;s most prestigious series to other platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following &#8220;Band of Brothers,&#8221; HBO has now let go of another one of its best series: &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/the-best-games-with-submarines-or-under-the-sea-you-can-play\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>Six Feet Unde<\/strong>r<\/a>.&#8221; The gap between having HBO Max and Netflix is narrowing, and certainly, this latest addition puts the latter platform ahead in the streaming wars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed-Youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Six Feet Under - Season 5 Trailer - Official HBO UK\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MagdQwVaOtM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A legendary series from the 2000s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Premiered in 2001, Six Feet Under depicts the daily life of a family running a funeral home. Its official synopsis is as follows: &#8216;While the family waits for Nate&#8217;s arrival on Christmas Eve, Nathaniel Fisher (father) dies in a car accident. <strong>The middle brother, David, runs the family business alongside his domineering mother Ruth <\/strong>(Conroy), while his sister Claire (Ambrose) is a troubled teenager who uses drugs. The seemingly normal person in Nate&#8217;s life is Brenda (Griffiths), a passionate woman he meets on a plane. The catch is that Brenda&#8217;s family is even more dysfunctional than Nate&#8217;s.&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2023\/11\/2-metros-ueo.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-258346\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the lead roles, you&#8217;ll find Nate (Peter Krause), Nathaniel (Richard Jenkins), David (Michael C. Hall), Ruth (Frances Conroy), and Claire (Lauren Ambrose). The series spans 5 seasons and a whopping 63 episodes, providing more than enough content to enjoy over a significant period of time.
