In fact, as can be seen below, despite the page being fully loaded, <strong>the video playback doesn&#8217;t commence immediately<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-reddit wp-block-embed-reddit\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"reddit-embed-bq\" style=\"height:500px\" ><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/youtube\/comments\/17z8hsz\/youtube_has_started_to_artificially_slow_down\/\">Youtube has started to artificially slow down video load times if you use Firefox. Spoofing Chrome magically makes this problem go away.<\/a><br> by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/vk6_\/\">u\/vk6_<\/a> in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/youtube\/\">youtube<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/embed.reddit.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Other users, in fact, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/firefox\/comments\/17ywbjj\/comment\/k9w3ei4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">have found the command<\/a> within the website&#8217;s code that would intentionally cause this delay. It&#8217;s seen as <strong>an unfair competitive move<\/strong>, as Google would be deliberately harming a browser that isn&#8217;t part of its ecosystem and, <strong>under equal conditions, would have a similar performance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The battle between browsers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Lately, <strong>Firefox has made numerous strides in its system<\/strong> to continue attracting a larger audience to its browsing service. For instance, they are enhancing their active support for extensions and have created <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/this-firefox-browser-tool-will-protect-your-mail-from-spam\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">a spam filter for your email<\/a> that <strong>streamlines your registration on various websites<\/strong> without needing to receive uncomfortable <em>newsletters <\/em>in your actual inbox.
