There’s a lovely tradition that’s been going on for a few years now, involving running Doom<\/a> <\/strong>in the most unlikely places in the world. We’ve seen it run on a calculator and even on a pregnancy test<\/strong>, so it’s only a matter of time before engineers come up with more ways to play Doom in impossible locations. What’s the latest one? None other than a lawnmower<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the last edition of Dreamhack in Sweden<\/strong>, a group of engineers managed to run the legendary first-person shooter<\/strong> on a Husqvarna <\/strong>robotic lawnmower. This Swedish company specializes in gardening tools, from chainsaws to the aforementioned lawnmower, which is why those in charge of this “port” chose them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The uniqueness of this version of Doom is that it can be played without any issues<\/strong>. It is seen in great detail on the actual display of the lawnmower, meaning there’s no typical pixelation found in Doom games run on various platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
