Chapter 4 of Fortnite<\/strong> has become a sensation within the fanbase. The recent Season 5 of Epic Games<\/strong>‘ battle royale, named “Origins” or “Fortnite OG<\/strong>,” brought back the original Fortnite map<\/a>, and it has garnered significant success among fans, mostly due to the nostalgia and fond memories it evokes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With that premise, it wasn’t surprising that many veteran Fortnite players, who had long left the game, returned this time to relive what they experienced in the first chapter of the battle royale. However, what many didn’t expect was for Epic Games to have a series of rewards prepared for these players<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That was the case for the user reginof99, who a few days ago posted on Reddit<\/a> explaining what happened when they logged into Fortnite after a long time without playing<\/strong>: “I logged into Fortnite after years and received this. Is it an error, or were these given to everyone who didn’t unlock the skins in time?”<\/p>\n\n\n

In the attached image in the post, various skins from previous chapters and seasons of Fortnite<\/a><\/strong> are visible<\/strong> alongside the text: “Congratulations! You have obtained the following rewards.” Most of the skins shown are legendary<\/strong>, and to unlock them previously, players had to pay for them, which wasn’t the case for reginof99.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Obviously, some users didn’t hide their surprise at the event: “The guy opened a time capsule,” to which the player responded, “Yes, basically, I haven’t touched Fortnite in almost 4 years!<\/strong>“<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other players in the same situation commented that they had also received the rewards upon logging in after several years without playing Fortnite<\/a>, supposedly granted after the change in the XP system in Chapter 2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n
