This narrative thread has meandered through six films and a Disney+<\/a> TV series. However, in a recent interview, Tom Hiddleston dropped hints that his tenure as Loki might not be ending anytime soon.<\/p>\n\n\n

In a conversation with BBC Radio 1<\/a><\/em>‘s Ali Plumb after the conclusion of Loki season 2, Tom Hiddleston, who initially portrayed Loki in 2011’s Thor, reflected on the significance of the character in his career. When Plumb playfully asked Hiddleston if he’d contemplate returning to the role, Hiddleston replied with a quick and confident “Certainly.” He then intriguingly added, “In fact, I think I still am, in some way,” accompanied by a sly smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hiddleston’s cryptic response suggests that he may not be ready to retire Loki’s iconic horned helmet just yet. With Marvel’s exploration of the multiverse, it leaves the door wide open for the possibility of encountering a different version of the Norse god in the not-so-distant future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom Hiddleston, in discussing the important costume change for his character in Loki season 2, highlights a significant shift during the finale. Discussing the evolution of the costume, Hiddleston reflects on his collaboration with the costume director. \u201cI talked with Christine Wada, our costume director, about it and it was actually our first fitting,\u201d he shared. From the outset, they envisioned the character’s final look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The actor then sheds light on the conceptual shift behind the new design. \u201cIt was kind of about being sort of monastic and humble,\u201d he points out, drawing a distinction from Loki’s traditionally ornate, gold-adorned costumes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the aftermath of Loki’s season finale, a notable point of discussion has been Tom Hiddleston’s improvisation of his character\u2019s concluding lines, echoing a memorable moment from the 2011 film Thor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hiddleston recalled the genesis of those lines. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t written, I felt it,\u201d he stated, acknowledging the significance of that moment in the production timeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The actor detailed the lead-up to the improvisation. \u201c[Directors] Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson turned to me and said \u2018I think in about 30 minutes, we\u2019re downstairs and it\u2019s on you, before you go out there [for your final scene],\u2019\u201d he recounted. Aaron encouraged Hiddleston to ponder the character\u2019s final words, offering him time to reflect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For you, for all of us,\u201d before an apparent fatal fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis evoked an idea,\u201d Hiddleston added, sharing his epiphany with Aaron, Justin, and producer Kevin Wright: \u201cGuys, I think I\u2019ve got it. Here\u2019s what he should say: ‘I know what I want. I know what kind of God I need to be. For you, for all of us.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n
