With this, <strong>we can choose a sound for all incoming notifications, except for messages, email alerts, and calendar alerts<\/strong>, which already had customization options<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed-Youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"A Guided Tour of iPhone 15 &amp; iPhone 15 Pro | Apple\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EcGXCJm3XMA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also, we are offered the possibility to change the haptic vibration of the default notifications, which is a great step towards greater personalization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Collaborative playlists on Apple Music<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In earlier versions of iOS 17.2, collaborative playlists were introduced on Apple Music. However, in this fourth beta, <strong>Apple has removed this option<\/strong>, suggesting that this feature might not be available in the final version of iOS 17.2. It&#8217;s too early to dismiss it entirely, though; it could reappear in a fifth beta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recording on an external device for iPhone 15<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max models, it&#8217;s possible to record video in ProRes format directly onto an external storage device. The iOS 17.2 beta 4 seems to include a new message <strong>informing us when external recording isn&#8217;t functioning due to a USB-C cable being too slow<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There was already a warning for when connecting an external storage device that didn&#8217;t have sufficiently fast writing speeds to support external recording. Now, a message about the writing speed of the USB-C cable has been added, <strong>providing<\/strong> <strong>more information to easily address the situation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;In Settings, find Apple Care and Warranty&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Coverage section, within <em>Settings &gt; General<\/em>, is now <strong>named <em>AppleCare and Warranty<\/em>.<\/strong> Similar to before, here, you can find information about the AppleCare for your iPhone and connected devices like the Apple Watch and AirPods. The official update is expected to arrive before the start of the holiday season, so in less than three weeks, we should hear news about it.
