Easy, by following these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We open the <em>Settings <\/em>app on our iPhone or iPad.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the <em>FaceTime <\/em>section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap on <em>SharePlay<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disable <strong>SharePlay<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><br>What will we get with this? That <strong>during FaceTime calls we will not be offered the option to share<\/strong> the screen or playback from our iPhone. At the same time, we will prevent other people from inviting us to those same shared sessions when we are talking to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We should also note that disabling the SharePlay feature applies to FaceTime calls between two people as well as those we make in a group. On the other hand, let&#8217;s note that through <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/airdrop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">AirDrop<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/ios-17-official-news\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">iOS 17<\/a> we can also <strong>initiate SharePlay sessions simply by the proximity of our devices<\/strong>. This is something that we may also want to disable.
