It was one of the big surprises from The Game Awards 2023 this past Friday night<\/a>, undoubtedly an announcement nobody expected and one that delighted millions of players who just wanted an excuse to head back north and throw punches at the Norse gods.<\/p>\n\n\n

Although initially it was unknown whether fans would receive news about the next step in Kratos and Atreus’ journey, at the beginning of this year’s event, a trailer for the upcoming Valhalla DLC of God of War Ragnarok<\/strong> was shown as one of the many worldwide premieres at The Game Awards 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a very brief trailer, Kratos is seen battling several enemies in some familiar-looking locations<\/strong>. This means there will be recycling of environments and enemies, as is customary in these cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
