Thus, <strong>the idea is to keep calm, stay level-headed, and avoid getting frightened<\/strong>\u2014a quite challenging task due to its VHS aesthetic, a very eerie atmosphere, and more than just relying on jump scares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even though it currently has only one setting\u2014a house seemingly inhabited by horrors we&#8217;d rather not acknowledge\u2014<strong>616&#8217;s developers have promised to add more in the future through free updates<\/strong>. This promises great replay value for the game in the long run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Shhh! preview\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HJtce0kXi9E?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Of course, this isn&#8217;t something entirely new as many current horror games have been leveraging the possibilities of microphones<\/strong>. In games like Phasmophobia and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/lethal-company-has-an-arachnophobia-mode-and-its-as-simple-as-its-hilarious\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Lethal Company<\/a>, monsters can locate you based on the sounds you make in real life. And in Don\u2019t Scream, much like in Shhh, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/the-horror-video-game-that-is-played-with-the-micro-station-and-will-control-your-screams\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">the game ends the moment you scream<\/a>.
