The reason: <strong>blocking third-party app stores<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is <strong>something that the company has been doing for many years<\/strong>, but it was not until last September that lawyers from different states in the United States <strong>joined together in a class-action lawsuit<\/strong> to put pressure on the company. Besides losing to a strong competitor, the legal precedent set prevents them from <strong>having the same freedom as before<\/strong> regarding anti-competitive practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Google still has <strong>two more complaints of this kind pending<\/strong>, but for now <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/google-goes-on-trial-in-the-biggest-us-challenge-to-technological-power-in-decades\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">no further updates have been revealed<\/a>.
