Google <a href=\"http:\/\/support.google.com\/websearch\/bin\/answer.py?hl=en&amp;answer=2664197\">said of the decision<\/a>: &#8220;With modern apps that run on platforms like Chrome and Android, the need for something like iGoogle has eroded over time, so we\u2019ll be winding down iGoogle on November 1, 2013.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Google Video was replaced by YouTube long ago and hasn&#8217;t accepted new videos since 2009, although content is still online to watch. If you have any videos uploaded to Google Video, you should be seeing a prompt like the one below when you log into your YouTube account. YouTube will automatically transfer them from Google Video when you press the &#8216;Migrate&#8217; button but remember, you only have until August 20th to do this and rescue your content.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26768\" title=\"google video youtube prompt\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2012\/07\/youtube.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"508\" height=\"102\" srcset=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2012\/07\/youtube.jpg 508w, https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2012\/07\/youtube-300x60.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 508px) 100vw, 508px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These are the two most notable services for the chop but there there are several others that will go soon:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Google Mini:<\/strong> An Enterprise Search tool that&#8217;s replaced by Google Search Appliance<\/p>\n<p><strong>Google Talk Chatback:<\/strong> A Google Talk widget that&#8217;s replaced by the Meebo bar<\/p>\n<p><strong>Symbian Search App:<\/strong> A search app for Symbian devices that&#8217;s replaced by Google Search<\/p>\n<p>You can find more details on the <a href=\"http:\/\/googleblog.blogspot.com.es\/2012\/07\/spring-cleaning-in-summer.html\">Google service closures here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If there are any services that you are sad to see go, let us know in the comments.
